About Me/Contact

Hi! I'm Bethany: Wife to Dan, my unbelievably amazing husband of seven years. (Seriously, it's ridiculous how amazing he is.) Mom to Lucas: my adorable, brilliant, exhausting three-year-old boy and Calista: my precious, beautiful, sleep-depriving six-month-old daughter. Possessor of a writing degree, which is currently being used mostly to write impromptu songs for my son (often to the tune of "Oh My Darling Clementine.") Christian. Pinterest and Facebook addict. Avid reader of good books. (Emphasis on the word "good.") Former employee of an awesome nonprofit foundation and former substitute teacher. Current stay-at-home mom. Thirty-two years old. I write a lot about random things that happen to me and a little about things I've made. I love crafts, but I'm not really skilled in any one kind of crafting. So if I've made it, you can definitely make it, too! I run the occasional giveaway, but only for things I'd genuinely want to spend money on. I love jewelry, coffee, getting mail, talking (a lot), writing, Etsy, watching Project Runway, and naps!

  1. Hi Bethany! I recently found your blog; your stories are heartwarming and witty! I just had my second child, and with the birth of my baby I also quit my job in pharmaceutical sales. I love being with my kids, however being at home all day is a major adjustment. I spend a lot of time on Etsy as well! Do you know any products that are great for kids?

  2. Hi Bethany! I just found your blog via TopMommyBlogs. I love the way you write, it's so conversational. I feel like we are sharing a coffee together! I'm a mum to an amazing little guy myself, he's almost 18months, and I'm married to a doctor, so I can relate to a lot of your experiences! I opted to stay at home when I had my little man. I had just graduated as an Occupational Therapist, but we were waiting to find out where my husband would end up for his residency. Now we're all settled in a new city, and I'm getting into a groove as a SAHM. I really liked your post on not having to love every moment of every day, I'm definitely guilty of feeling bad about this! Oh! and I blog too (in case you're interested)! http://welcometomummyhood.blogspot.ca/
