So if you've been wondering why I haven't posted any funny Lucas stories lately (and I'm sure that approximately zero of you were,) it's because I spend a lot of time laying on the floor while trying to entertain a toddler. It's definitely interesting, but not exactly "other people will want to read about this" interesting. Lucas may or may not have (definitely did) spent 24 hours in his pajamas the other day. Try not to judge. If my child did not love to cuddle and read books for much longer periods of time than could possibly be considered normal for a one-and-a-half year old boy, my "pain days" would be pretty much impossible.
But in happier news, I might have some exciting (mostly for me, I'm sure) blog news to share soon. And my husband is awesome. And this little boy's smile pretty much makes my life:

It probably won't help my pain, but it couldn't hurt, right??
I'm sorry you're hurting! No fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Audrey!
DeleteHe's so cute!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon. I know what it's like to be in pain; I've been known to just leave my kids and myself in pajamas all weekend sometimes... Lol.
Thank you!! Yeah, he may have been in pajamas ever so slightly longer than 24 hours...
Deletehope you feel better!
ReplyDeleteand for the record, pajama days are the absolute best. for kids and adults alike. also, super cute picture. is he reading chicka chicka boom boom? because i'm pretty sure that was one of my favorite books from kg through third grade.
Thank you! And yes, good eye! It's Chicka Chicka ABC, which is just a portion of the whole book, I think? He loves it.
DeleteI love you. That's all.
ReplyDelete(Well, my kids still routinely spend 24 stretches in their jammies. Or unders, as the case may be. Meh.)
Thank you!! The feeling is so very mutual!! :) I'm really proud of your ridiculously long run, by the way!
